Lauren Greenlaw
West Vancouver—Sunshine Coast—Sea to Sky Country
“Public funds should not be used to subsidize corporations while people continue to suffer from wealth disparity and political instability.”
With a BSc Eng and an MSc in Geology, along with 15 years in the resource industry, my background in geosciences gives me a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of Earth’s systems and humanity’s impact on them.
As a municipal councillor for the District of Squamish, I played a key role in bringing the Sue Big Oil campaign to Squamish, successfully opposing a proposed pipeline work camp within our district, and strongly advocating for gender equity and individual rights over government overreach.
As your MP, my goal will be to create a brighter, more sustainable future for our community.

Affordable Living & Care
End oil and gas subsidies and use the billions of dollars of public tax dollars to invest in our communities: affordable housing, expanded health care, local food supply, caring for our youth, elders, and disabled, as well as empowering First Nations.
Social Equity, Democracy, and Sovereignty
Empower people made marginalized, including women, radicalized, disabled, LGBTQ2+ and more, for a stable democracy and for a strong Canada.
Resilient Local Economy
Uplift local / small business by closing loopholes, increasing taxes for large corporations, advancing circular economy initiatives, and through the support of local agriculture for food security.
Environmental Stewardship & Powerful Communities
Help lead Canada toward a just, green economy with good jobs and diverse energy sources, stop harmful fossil fuel projects, and work with First Nations and communities in solidarity .
